We’re looking for
inspirational, true stories that will make readers laugh, cry,
or sigh. Stories should be positive, universal, and
non-controversial. The “message” should be evident without
preaching. No essays, commentaries, tributes, philosophical, or
biographical pieces will be accepted. Please refer to other
Chicken Soup books to better understand our story-telling style.
You may submit more than one story, whether original or a
favorite from magazines, newspapers, or other sources.
Although we would like to respond to every contribution, the
volume of stories we receive makes that impossible. Only
finalists will be notified prior to publication. We appreciate
your patience during this decision-making process.
Thank you for joining us in touching the hearts and rekindling
the spirits of millions of empty nesters everywhere. We look
forward to receiving your stories!
